Abrasive Wheels Course

This course - 

  • This course is aimed at those who use or supervise the use of all types of abrasive wheels including grinding wheels. As well as covering the legislative requirements, hazards and safe systems of work, the course includes a practical session on changing discs, and practical demonstrations as required. Our trainer will tailor the course to meet your specific requirements.

Duration - 

  • Half day maximum 10 delegates.

Objectives -  

  • On completion of the session delegates will -

  • Be aware of legislation relating to the use of Abrasive Wheels

  • Be able to carry out routine maintenance checks

  • Be able to safely operate the equipment

  • Be able to change an Abrasive Wheel correctly

  • Be assessed on the safe use and changing of an Abrasive Wheel

Tests - 

  • Multiple choice question paper, 75% pass mark

Who should attend - 

  • All those required to use Abrasive Wheels as part of their job.
