12 C Operative Training
This course -
-
Has been designed for all Traffic Managements Operatives involved in the installation and removal of Mobile Lane Closures under TD49 regulations.
Duration -
-
A two-day training course for up to 6 delegates, with day 2 consisting of a practical observation of the operatives in a working environment.
Objectives -

At the end of the course the delegates SHOULD:
-
Understand the principles of quality assurance
-
Be aware of the Health and Safety legislation and their obligations
-
Be aware of safe working practices
-
Be aware of reference documentation used with the MLC traffic management industry.

Be able to work as a member of a Mobile Lane Closure Team to install and remove mobile closures.

Be able to check and operate vehicles and trailers for mobile lane closures.
Tests -
-
Written question paper, 30 minutes time limit, 75% pass mark.
