12 C Supervisor Training
This course -

Has been designed for personnel carrying out the duties of mobile lane closure supervisors under TD49 regulations.
Duration -
-
A one-day training course for upto 6 delegates.
Objectives -
-
At the end of the course the delegates SHOULD:
-
Understand the principles of quality assurance
-
Be aware of the training and assessment process for an MLC Traffic Management Supervisor
-
Understand and use the documentation required for MLC working
-
Carry out the duties of a Planning Officer when required
-
Work to TD49 and Planning Officer request forms
-
Be able to plan and supervise a Mobile Lane Closure
-
Be able to check and operate vehicles used for Mobile Lane Closure
-
Liaise with motorway officials and police
-
Carry out emergency closures when requested by the authorities
Tests -
-
Written question paper, 30 minutes time limit, 75% pass mark.
Who should attend -
-
Operatives MUST hold the 12C operatives before attending. Personnel who have been appointed as Planning Officers may attend if they have completed the theory of 12C operatives.
